This is an elegant, yet simple dinner to serve on a Tuesday for your family, or on Saturday night for friends.  Start to finish, the entire meal will only take you 20 minutes.

The Shopping List (for 4) : 
1 pound of large shrimp................$10.00
1/3 cup of olive oil.........................pantry
4 tablespoons of garlic..................$0.50
1 bunch of parsley, chopped.........$0.60
1 tablespoon of dijon......................pantry
1 lemon.............................................$0.40
1 pound box of pasta.......................$1.50
1 cup of fresh basil..........................$3.00
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese..........$3.00
wooden skewers..............................$1.00

1- In a large bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of garlic, 2 tablespoons of parsley, dijon and juice of 1 lemon.  Add shrimp and toss to coat.  Skewer shrimp on wooden skewers.  Light grill.

2- Cook pasta in boiling water.  Finely chop basil, 2 tablespoons of parsley, 2 tablespoons of garlic and put them in a medium bowl.  Whisk in olive oil, salt & pepper.  Put the ingredients in a saute pan and cook on low for 2 minutes.  

3- Grill shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side (depending on the size of the shrimp).

4- Add cooked pasta to the pesto sauce, toss and saute for 1 minute.  

5- Serve pasta topped with parmesan cheese and cracked pepper.
