Pigs in a Blanket were all the rage at one time, then they got a bad wrap for being tacky party food.  They were banned from any event with style.  But, like all things that were once great, these little guys are making a comeback in the comfort food craze.  As a huge hot dog (and comfort food) fan - I'm thrilled.  Serve these with a gourmet mustard or cheese dip to up their style factor.

Pigs in a Blanket
Bringing Back a Classic

8 Beef Hot Dogs
1 can of Crescent Rolls
Dijon Mustard

Roll out the crescent rolls out on a cutting board.  Cut them in half, making equal triangles (or as equal as possible).  Cut the hot dogs in half and roll the halves on each triangle of crescent roll dough.  Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a Silpat baking liner.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
